What is Reformer Pilates?

Strength-based movement designed to support control, resistance, and alignment

What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates combines controlled movement and resistance to help build strength, improve alignment and support how your body moves day to day. Each class is structured to feel focused, supportive and accessible, whether you're new or more experienced.

We train on professional-grade Hampton Reformers because we think good equipment makes a real difference. Our instructors are highly qualified and genuinely passionate about helping you progress. Classes stay small so you always get proper attention, and the whole experience is designed to feel good from the moment you walk in.

Your instructor will walk you through every movement from the start and make sure you feel comfortable on the Reformer before the class begins. If it is your first session, arrive 10 minutes early so we can give you a proper introduction.

We are always happy to help before you commit to booking. Drop us a message and we will chat through which class suits you best, what to expect on your first visit, or anything else you want to know.

What to Expect

Included in every session

Your instructor will meet you at the start of class and walk you through the Reformer before you begin. There is nothing to worry about and nothing to prepare, just arrive with an open mind and comfortable clothing you can move freely in.

Grip socks are required for all classes as they help keep your feet secure on the footbar. If you do not have a pair, Forge Pilates grip socks are available to purchase at the studio so you will never be caught short.

We recommend arriving 10 minutes early for your first session so there is plenty of time to get settled before the class starts.

“I’ve just been to a reformer Pilates session with Becca and absolutely loved it! I’ve done Pilates in the past, but never tried a reformer board and couldn’t believe how many different ways you can use it. Becca made the class feel fun, welcoming and kept checking our form throughout the session. The space is nice and bright, aesthetically pleasing and in a great location. It went really quickly as I was enjoying so much. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially if you’ve never tried it before. Thank you so much Becca!”

As someone new to it, I was made to feel comfortable and it's something I would like to do again soon. I've just purchased a gift voucher for a friend to enjoy a session there for her birthday ☺️”
